A beautiful 19th-century French bergère, sourced in Avignon by Robyn McKendry for Magnolia Interiors.
Elegant in both form and detail, the chair features a finely carved timber frame with gently curved arms and beautifully aged rattan to the back and sides. Its generous proportions and relaxed silhouette are complemented by a striped upholstered seat cushion and upholstered armrests, adding softness and character to the piece.
The original timeworn finish, delicate carving and natural patina speak to its age and provenance, giving this bergère the wonderfully layered quality we seek in antique French furniture.
